Orlando Vacation – Reservation Policy

Hotel Reservation Policy

We do not charge a deposit to make a hotel reservation unless it is during Holiday Season. We will ask for a valid credit card, and we will pre-authorize the card for $1 to ensure the credit card is valid. Nothing will be charged for your hotel stay until 10 day prior to your arrival. If you should need to cancel your hotel reservation you may do so by calling our toll free number at 1-800-641-4008 or you may email us at [email protected] If you email us please include the last name on the reservation, the confirmation number, and your date of travel. We will confirm all cancellations with an email confirming your booking has indeed been canceled.

  • You can make a hotel booking and you are not charged anything until 10 days prior to your arrival.
  • If you are booking within 10 days of your arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged at the time of booking.
  • If you should need to cancel your reservations inside of 10 days of your arrival there will be a one night penalty to cancel the reservation. There are no cancellations within 1 day of your arrival date.

 

Holiday Season Dates:

  • 12/22/16 to 1/3/17
  • 3/17/17 to 4/22/17
  • 7/1/17 to 7/7/17

 

During the Holiday Season, we will charge a deposit on all hotel reservations booked during this time. The deposit is $50 and the remaining balance will be due 15 days prior to your arrival. If you need to cancel there is a $15 cancellation fee. These dates are peak travel times here in Orlando and the hotels need more time to fill up the hotels in the event of cancellations.

Bookings for Vacation Home, Townhome & Condo Reservation & Cancellation Policies

To make a vacation home reservation we require a $50 non-refundable deposit. The balance of your vacation home, townhome or condo will be charged 30 days prior to your reservation date.

If you are staying in a vacation home, townhome, or condo the management company that is in charge of looking after the unit will charge all guests a property protection fee. This fee works just like insurance, and if anything should be damaged or broken while you are staying in the home, this property protection fee will cover the damages up to $250. Please note, since this fee is charged by the management companies it is not included in the total price.

If you are ordering pool heat for your vacation home or townhome you will need to arrange this with the management company. Affordable Travel cannot be responsible for the pool heat since the property management company offers this service.

Cancellation Policy for your Vacation Home, Condo or Townhome:

Holiday Season Dates:

  • Greater than 30 days prior to your arrival date: We will not charge anything aside from initial $50 deposit
  • Inside of 30 days of your arrival date: You will be charged for a 2-nights cancellation fee. If you are canceling a reservation during holiday season this cancellation fee will be 4 nights.
  • There are no cancellations within 1 day of your arrival date: You will be charged the entire price of your stay

We will do everything in our power to make sure our guests have a great time in Orlando. If there is issues with your stay please contact Affordable Travel at 1-800-633-7108 ext 7007 and we will do our best to make your issue go away.

There will be no compensation if you notify us of any issues after you have checked out. It is only fair that our company be given the opportunity to make right any issues you have while you are in town.

To Reserve Disney World and Other Attraction Tickets

You may order Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld tickets from us, and we can have the tickets waiting for you at your hotel or vacation home upon your arrival to Orlando or we can mail you the theme park tickets. All ticket orders will be fulfilled and processed by KGS, which is our ticket division. We suggest to all our guests to order your tickets early. There is no charge to order the tickets, and we do not charge you until 10 days prior to your arrival as long as you

book your lodging with us. Please note, the theme parks typically go up on their ticket prices 2 or 3 times a year. We will honor the ticket prices which they were at the time you ordered them up to 3 months after the price increase.

Once we have sold the tickets and the guests have paid for them we cannot exchange or refund for the tickets.
