Orlando Vacation - Reservation Policy
Hotel Room Reservation & Cancellation Policies
To make a reservation we require a $50 deposit per hotel room (balance will be charged 15 days prior to arrival). In order to make a reservation you may call our toll free number and speak to one of our friendly reservationist or you make a reservation online. Once we have received your reservation we will respond with your confirmation letter within 48 hours. This confirmation letter will be sent to the e-mail address you provide us.
Please note, last minute reservations may not be able to be honored by the hotel or vacation home management company. If this should happen, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Greater than 15 days before your reservation: Refund $35 of deposit (This refund ONLY applies to HOTELS. Vacation home, townhome & condo booking do not receive a refund)
Less than 15 days before reservation: You will be charged for a 1-night stay
Less than 24 hours before reservation: You will be charged the entire price of your stay
Vacation Home, Townhome & Condo Reservation & Cancellation Policies
To make a vacation home reservation we require a $50 deposit before 30 days
prior to arrival. The balance of your trip will be charged 30 days prior
to your reservation date. The $50 is non-refundable.
If you are staying in a vacation home, townhome, or condo the management
company that is in charge of looking after the unit will charge all guests
a property protection fee. This fee works just like insurance, and if anything
should be damaged or broken while you are staying in the home, this property
protection fee will cover the damages up to $250. Please note, since this
fee is charged by the management companies it is not included in the total
If you are ordering pool heat for your vacation home or townhome you will need
to arrange this with the management company. Affordable Travel cannot be
responsible for the pool heat since the property management company offers
If you are booking a vacation home or townhome during the busy Spring Break/Easter
or during the Christmas time period we do require the remaining balance
to be paid 30 days prior to your arrival. If you need to cancel your reservation
please let us know 30 days prior to your arrival during these peak travel
dates (3/12 to 4/20) and (12/22 to 12/31) and you will not be charged anything
aside from your initial $50 deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of
your arrival during these high season dates will carry a 4-night penalty.
Greater than 30 days before your reservation: We will not charge anything aside
from initial $50 deposit
Less than 30 days before reservation: You will be charged for a 2-night stay
(4 night stay during peak periods)
Less than 24 hours before reservation: You will be charged the entire price
of your stay
Cancellation and Refund Policies
* If you should need to cancel your reservation and you do so prior to 16 days of your arrival we will cheerfully refund $35 of the $50 deposit you paid for hotel bookings ONLY. We will confirm all cancellations by sending you e-mail to the e-mail address we have on file.
* If you should need to cancel your reservations inside of 15 days of your arrival there will be a one night penalty to cancel the reservation on a hotel and a two night penalty on if you cancel a vacation home inside of 15 days of the arrival. There are not cancellations within 24 hours of your arrival date. We will confirm all cancellations via cancellation e-mail.
*** If you are booking a vacation home from 3/12/14 to 4/20/14 (Spring Break/Easter) or 12/22/14 to 12/31/14 (Christmas) the remaining balance on your vacation home or townhome will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival during these high travel times there will be a 4-night cancellation fee.
IMPORTANT: There will be no refunds for vacation homes, townhomes & condos. These properties include but are not limited to:
- Standard Pool Homes
- Executive Pool Homes
- Specific Pool Homes
- Emerald Island
- Terra Verde
- Windsor Palms
- Regal Palms
We will do everything in our power to make sure our guests have a great time in Orlando. If there is an issue with your stay please contact Affordable Travel at 1-800-633-7108 ext 7007 and we will do our best to make your issue go away. There will be no compensation if you notify us of any issues after you have checked out. It is only fair that our company be given the opportunity to make right any issues you have while you are in town.
To Reserve Disney World and Other Attraction Tickets
You may order Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld tickets from us, and we can have the tickets waiting for you at your hotel or vacation home upon your arrival to Orlando or we can mail you the theme park tickets.
All ticket orders will be fulfilled and processed by Kissimmee Guest Services, which is our ticket division. We suggest to all our guests to order your tickets early. There is no charge to order the tickets, and we do not charge you until 15 days prior to your arrival. Please note, that the theme parks typically go up on their ticket prices 2 or 3 times a year. We will honor the ticket prices which they were at the time you ordered them.
Once we have sold the tickets and the guests has paid for them we cannot exchange or refund for the tickets. The tickets will be charged in full 15 days prior to your arrival.
