EPCOT – Stave Church

The Stave Church is an authentic replica of the Gol stave church found in Oslo, Norway. Inside the elaborate structure is an interesting exhibit on vikings history, which includes sculptures of Olaf II and Erik the Red. Visitors will also find artifacts and weapons used by the vikings themselves.

There is no height requirement for this ride.

Age: Attraction Review:
ages 2-4 Young kids probably will not find anything particularly interesting about the exhibit.
ages 5-10 Some children might enjoy looking at the viking figures, but probably wouldn’t want to spend more than a few minutes.
ages 11-15 Unless particularly interested in viking history, most pre-teens and teens probably wouldn’t want to spend more than a few minutes.
ages 16-adult Adults shouldn’t miss this quaint little exhibit as well as the interesting architectural features of the Stave Church.

When to Visit

Many guests do not even realize you can go inside the Stave Church and it stays quiet all day. Visit when you need a break from the crowds or the heat.
