Soarin’ Around the World The Land Epcot

Thanks to a combination of motion simulators and Omnimax movie technology, you’ll feel as if you’re hang gliding over spectacular vistas and sights. The ride utilizes special seating which allows the guests’ legs to dangle over the seat adding to the hang gliding effect. On your breathtaking flight, you’ll enjoy a ride over the entire World.

There is a 40″ height requirement for this ride.

Age:	Attraction Review:
ages 2-4	Most are not tall enough for the height requirement, but those that are all enjoy the attraction. Some loud fireworks may temporarily startle young children.
ages 5-10	If they are tall enough this is one of the most popular rides in all of Walt Disney World.
ages 11-15	This is often ranked as a favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World by park guests.
ages 16-adult	This is often ranked as a favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World by park guests.
senior citizens	Those concerned about motion sickness should note that Soarin’ is not like Star Tours and does not jostle its riders about. Soarin’ is very relaxing and uses the beautiful visuals rather than jarring movement to create excitement.

When to Visit

Soarin’ is a popular ride in Epcot. The loading time can cause the line to back up during a very busy day.

Genie+

Soarin’ is included in Genie+. You can get a reservation for Soarin’ typically throughout the morning for a decent return time. Towards the end of the day wait time can drop to 20 minutes.
