Labor Day
Our favorite time of year to visit Disney World and Universal Studios is after Labor Day, especially in October. One reason is that the crowds are smaller this time of year. There is a better chance to snag those Fast Passes you couldn’t get for Spring Break or Summer. The wait time is less allowing you to experience more of the parks in one day without fighting against the crowd.
A Slower Time
Since it is a slower time for Orlando Theme Parks, prices are also lower on the Disney World Tickets and Universal Studios Tickets. October Events
In October, there is so much to do in the Orlando area. The Orlando Theme Parks are hosting special events like Mickey’s Not Scary Halloween Party at Disney World for those of all ages. It’s a unique experience that requires a special ticket, but it is considered after hours so the park is less crowded. If you’re not there for the Trick or Treating, you’ll at least enjoy how quickly you can hop on rides that would have otherwise had a long line during normal hours. Universal Studios is hosting Halloween Horror Nights for those who dare to be scared! Other parks like SeaWorld Orlando who owns Busch Gardens offer their own spooktacular events to create another scary fun experience.
