Rescheduling Your Orlando Vacation For Covid-19 (2020)
Spring Break is one of the busier times Orlando experiences each year. Many families have had to postpone their trip due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Orlando theme parks had to make the tough decision to close their doors for the time being. Families are feeling economic effects as some have lost their jobs or did not travel in fear of contracting the illness. The travel industry has adjusted its reservation policies to provide more flexibility during this uncertain time.
Because of this, we have changed our policy as well for those affected by the pandemic. If you have previously booked with OrlandoVacation.com for our Orlando Hotels or Orlando Vacation Home Rentals, we are allowing our guests to change their dates without penalty. We are also one of the only travel companies in the Orlando Vacation area that allow our guests to create a customized payment plan that fits their family’s needs.
Our favorite time of year to visit Disney World and Universal Studios is after Labor Day, especially in October. One reason is that the crowds are smaller this time of year. There is a better chance to snag those Fast Passes you couldn’t get for Spring Break or Summer. The wait time is less allowing you to experience more of the parks in one day without fighting against the crowd.
A Slower Time
Since it is a slower time for Orlando Theme Parks, prices are also lower on the Disney World Tickets and Universal Studios Tickets. Our guests save even more by booking an Orlando Vacation Package as our Orlando Hotels partners offer rates as low as $49 a night! The most popular lodging we offer is the Orlando Vacation Home Rentals which start at $89 a night. This will allow your family to get more out of your lodging with a fully equipped kitchen and multiple bedrooms so everyone has space to relax after a long day at the parks.
Temperature is another big factor as to why we love Fall time to take an Orlando Vacation. Florida is commonly known for its heat in the Summertime. Some families travel with members that are older or have a harder time mobilizing around in the heat. Temperatures drop from the 90s to the 70s making the miles of walking you will be doing so much more bearable.
In October, there is so much to do in the Orlando area. The Orlando Theme Parks are hosting special events like Mickey’s Not Scary Halloween Party at Disney World for those of all ages. It’s a unique experience that requires a special ticket, but it is considered after hours so the park is less crowded. If you’re not there for the Trick or Treating, you’ll at least enjoy how quickly you can hop on rides that would have otherwise had a long line during normal hours. Universal Studios is hosting Halloween Horror Nights for those who dare to be scared! Other parks like SeaWorld Orlando who owns Busch Gardens offer their own spooktacular events to create another scary fun experience.
This is also a great time for guests to have family reunions, church retreats, and weddings with our amazing deals on Orlando Group Packages. You are able to save the most money for your organization while still giving them the 5-star experience they deserve.
There is so much more to do besides the Orlando Theme Parks. Check out our other blog posts where we break it down by each month what is going on in Orlando so you can decide what is best for your family.
