Useful Universal Studios Tips

  • Bring some Ziploc bags with you. There are plenty of water areas and water rides at the parks and it would be a safe plan to put your cameras, wallet, or anything you don’t want to get wet in them. There are temporary lockers at most of the wet attractions but it’s still a safe thing to have with you.
  • Get to the park early, half an hour before it opens that should be enough time to park, get to the front gate. Once you get to the gate get a park schedule and start to plan which shows you want to see and when you want to go and see them. This will help you plan out your day faster without any hassle.
  • Beetlejuice & The Universal Monsters pose pictures for 20 minutes after the show and sign autographs.
  • The vintage cars parked outside Mel’s Diner make a great backdrop for a photo.
  • If you’re willing to seperate your party, you might try utilizing the single ride lines that offer a smaller wait. Because riders fill in the empty seats, groups are seperated.
  • You may want to visit Men in Black: Alien Attack first thing in the morning as it attracts the longest lines in the park.
  • If you are planning on visiting the park for the full day, the Meal Deal offered which gives guests unlimited food for the day is a great value.
  • Make sure to ask a Cast Member where the best spot is to watch Cinesphere as some vantage points are not that great.
  • Revenge of the Mummy and Men in Black: Alien Attack do not allow any loose items. If you are carrying a purse or any sort of bag you will need to store it in a locker. The lockers near the rides are free for the first two hours.
