Wizarding World of Harry Potter
In June 2010, Universal Studios Orlando opened their newest attraction… The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
And the verdict? It does not disappoint. People of all ages are raving about the details that the creators put into this new area. It’s being hailed as the best theme park addition in history. Many people thought Islands of Adventure needed some new life breathed into it. It was number 16, after all, on the list of most popular Orlando theme parks. Sixteen?! That is not something the folks at Universal can be proud of. Harry Potter fans are coming in droves to enter this new attraction. On opening day, crowds gathered outside for hours in advance just to be among the first to experience Harry Potter’s World in person.
All of the buildings they put into this park are very good replicas of the ones you have seen in the movies. You really feel like you are in the wand store where Harry and his special wand found each other. What an experience!
Even though the crowds are usually thick and the lines are long, don’t get discouraged. If you are a Harry Potter fan, even a casual fan, you will think it is worth the wait. And there are only three major rides in this section of Islands of Adventure, so if it makes you feel better, you only have to suffer the really long lines three times. The lines to pay inside the retail stores are also long, but not as bad. But Universal has done its best to make the waiting experience as entertaining as possible. There is really a lot to see while moving through the lines.
The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter schedule

If they say they are open at 9 AM, you’d have to wait in line at 8:30 a.m. However, to be the first, an admission ticket is required. You do not need to stay in the place to get this benefit, but you want to apply for the Universal Studios packages, which include accommodations in Orlando hotels, and vacation homes rentals Universal packages.
Things to do at the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter
Rides the Hogwarts Express between parks: this rides at Universal’s Wizarding World Of Harry Potter is a fun ride to “travel” and it saves you time when walking through parks (assuming the rail line is not too long).
Enjoy the rides: the golden goblin statue in Diagon Alley will take you to Harry Potter and escape from Gringott. If the notices you receive when a route starts you leave, you have the option to leave the line before surrendering. Go for a walk even if you plan to leave the line. It’s good to see the detailed interiors of Gringott, the goblin, and everything else!
Use a Wand: before buying a Wand, go near a show where the lucky ones take a wand. For a little amount, you can buy interactive “magic” wands in various areas of the theme Park. If you know you are going to purchase a wand, it makes sense to pay a bit more for this feature. When you explore the park, look for signs on the floor that show the movements of the wrist to activate the magic.
Go to the gift shop: there is not a traditional souvenir shop in Universal’s Wizarding World, and this also is a very great thing. Rather, you’ll find a variety of fantastic books and magical items, such as the ideal crystal ball, the ink space you want, or the Harry’s Hufflepuff scarf of the school year. Wizarding World’s Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade stores are as fun as the rides. Get acquainted with April fool’s jokes in Weasley’s Wheezes and get ready for Halloween in Borgin and Burkes, which is in the darkness of the Knockturn Alley.
Drink Butterbeer: butterbeer, a sweet and irresistible drink that is delicious to all magicians, frozen or generally available and appreciated by visitors to Orlando and the sunny Universal Harry Potter theme park in Los Angeles. If you only want to drink sweet concoctions without having to sit down to eat, it is also available in the Hopping pot, where you can sit outside and watch people.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter ride
The Universal Hogwarts Express: visitors who consider the ride Hogwarts Express as a method of transportation between Diagon Alley and Hogmeade are very deceived because the famous books and movies are much more attractive on many levels than ride between the 2 theme parks.
Harry Potter and Forbidden Journey: Records indicate that it is a very close race to evaluate Harry Potter and the forbidden trips and escape from Gringott. The two rides are almost the same in regards to fun, though the utilization of animatronics at Harry Potter and Forbidden Travel does not benefit you personally.
Flights of Hippogriff: the Flight of Hippogriff is obviously the most beautiful Ride at Harry Potter’s Wizarding World of Universal Studios Orlando, though this is mainly intended. It is a roller coaster for those who do not want to experience extreme situations and is ideal for younger children. This is one of the shortest walks in the park and a good option for young magicians or magicians looking for a touch of emotion but not fear.
Harry Potter and Escape from Gringott’s: undoubtedly the jewel in the crown of the Diagon Alley. A big dragon breathing fire in a magical bank is a special attraction, and then you go in and see all of the animatronic elves that work hard to keep the ledgers and balance accounts. Everything is even more fun when the canvas runner enters the vaults and then prepares for a luxurious and well-designed roller coaster indoor ride.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures the Motorbike Adventure: Harry Potter’s Wizarding World is the latest ride in Universal Orlando. The Hagrid’s Magical Adventure of Motorbike is definitely worth it, even though the wait seems a little long there. This says so much, considering that it has replaced a beloved Dueling Dragon, but Universal Studios’s “Story Coaster” still keeps the vigor of the main trip and impresses motorists with extraordinary animatronic animals and a much surprising decline.
Wizarding World of Harry Potter with toddlers
Best ride for your little children:
Hippogriff flights: passengers boarding a hippogriff besides Hagrid’s cabin. At 43 meters high and 28.5 miles per hour, the coasters are a little more aggressive than the Woody Woodpecker, though they are still relatively domesticated. This is more fascinating than Nuthouse Coaster.
Hogwarts Express: young children (and adults) will be happy when they got between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, two magic worlds in Universal Orlando. It is a real-life facsimile of a train at Universal’s Potter’s films and it contains some sophisticated special effects that immerse all passengers inside J.K.

If you want to buy souvenirs, as guests of the Harry Potter amusement park, you should visit all the stores that you know about books:
- Sweetshop Honeydukes and Sugarplum for desserts.
- Zonko’s joke shop.
- Owl Post where you can send e-mail.
- Dervishes and the Banges, which is full of robes, Gryffindor scarves, Corvonero shirts, and all kinds of items for sale, as well as fun details like books with cage bites.
However, keep in mind that all these activities are small and can be very crowded.
