Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges

A white-water rafting adventure down a turbulent river aboard rafts, featuring the characters from the Popeye cartoons. Along the exciting voyage riders face many water hazards and everyone ends up completely drenched by the end of the attraction. This isn’t a little bit of water we’re talking about here, this is complete head to toe soaking. If you are planning on riding Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges, you’re almost certainly going to need a change of clothes (even underwear!) to avoid sloshing your way through the rest of the park.

There is a 42″ height requirement for this ride.

Age:	Attraction Review:
ages 2-4	Those tall enough for the height requirement may still find the intense movements of the rapids to be a little too scary.
ages 5-10	Most kids enjoy this attraction and the opportunity to get completely soaked, but some find the rapids a little too intense.
ages 11-15	Pre-teens and teens love the intense rapids and the opportunity to get completely soaked.
ages 16-adult	Many adults enjoy the rapids and the scenery, but dislike just how wet riders get on the attraction.
senior citizens	The combination of the possibility of getting completely soaked and the intense rapids can make this ride not enjoyable for some seniors.
