A portion of the Wizzarding World of Harry Potter attraction is in Universal Studios and you may ride Hogwarts Express to go from Universal Studios to the other portion of the Harry Potter attraction which sits in Islands of Adventure. If you have small children, then Universal Studios is a must see!
Islands of Adventure and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Islands of Adventure first opened in 1999, it was once called “the most technological theme park” in the world. With high expectations like this, many wondered if it could live up to the hype. It only takes one trip to see that it certainly has!
Islands of Adventure is also home to the incredibly popular Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is fun for anyone who wants to get lost in a world of fantasy. In the Summer of 2014, Diagon Alley, a huge expansion, was officially open to the public. The Harry Potter Attraction is the single biggest attraction to open in Orlando in the past 20 years.
Volcano Bay
The third major theme park at Universal Studios is set to open in the Summer of 2017. With this amazing and technologically advanced theme park, Universal Studios is hoping to build upon its’ success it gained from the Wizzarding World of Harry Potter.
Volcano Bay is being billed as the greatest water theme park in the world. Universal Studios is promising that guest will not have to stand in lines or carry rafts or tubes from ride to ride. If you driven been by Universal Studios lately the water park rides look really impressive as they are nearing completion. We can’t wait for it to open!
