Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Designed with kids in mind, this attraction lets young guests take on the role of Space Rangers as they join their hero, Buzz Lightyear, on an adventure to save the universe’s crystollic fusion cell supply (i.e., batteries). Using a laser gun (attached to the vehicle), riders can shoot at targets in order to obtain the highest possible score.

There is no height requirement for this ride.

ages 2-4 Some young kids may find the loud noises frightening, but most enjoy the attraction.
ages 5-10 Kids love the interactive element and the opportunity to compete for points.
ages 11-15 Pre-teens and teens love the interactive element and the opportunity to compete for points.
ages 16-adult Many adults, especially those into video games, enjoy the interactive aspect of the attraction.
senior citizens Unless you’re interested in an arcade style adventure, it’s not particularly recommendable for seniors.

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is busiest between 11:30 a.m and 4:00 p.m.

FASTPASS

FASTPASS can be very helpful on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, but is generally only advisable to be used after you’ve visited or obtained a FASTPASS for the major attractions (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight). Unlike many of the major attractions FASTPASS for Buzz Lightyear is often available late in the day.
