Hotel Room Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Hotel Reservations

Unless you are traveling during Christmas or Easter Time we do not charge a deposit for a guest to make a hotel reservation. We do ask for you to put up a valid credit card to hold the hotel room and 10 days prior to your arrival we will charge the remaining balance.

In order to make a reservation you may call our toll free number and speak to one of our friendly customer service representatives or you make a reservation online. Once we have received your reservation we will respond with your confirmation letter within 48 hours. This confirmation letter will be sent to the e-mail address you provide us.

Please note, last minute reservations may not be able to be honored by the hotel or vacation home management company.
If this should happen, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Hotel Cancellations:

If you cancel your hotel reservation prior prior to us charging you (10 days prior to your arrival) you will not be charged anything. If you cancel anywhere from 3 days to 10 days prior to your arrival you will be charged a 1 night cancellation fee. Less than 2 days before reservation: You will be charged the entire price of your stay.

Hotel Reservations During Holiday Season

If you are making a hotel reservation during Holiday Season, we require all guest to put up a $50 deposit. The final balance for these reservations will be charged 15 days prior to your arrival.

Cancellation Policy for Hotel Reservations During Holiday Season

If you cancel your reservation prior to 15 days of your arrival then we will refund you $35 of your $50 deposit. If you cancel your reservation within 15 days of your arrival there will be a 1 night cancellation fee and any reservations cancelled within 2 days your arrival will be charged the full amount of your stay.

The Holiday Season for 2017:

Easter Time: 4/12 to 4/18

Christmas Time: 12/22 to 1/3

Vacation Home, Townhome & Condo Reservation & Cancellation Policies

To make a vacation home reservation we require a $50 deposit before 30 days prior to arrival. The balance of your trip will be charged 30 days prior to your reservation date. The $50 is non-refundable.

If you are staying in a vacation home, townhome, or condo the management company that is in charge of looking after the unit will charge all guests a property protection fee of $75. This fee works just like insurance, and if anything should be damaged or broken while you are staying in the home, this property protection fee will cover the damages up to $250. Please note, since this fee is charged by the management companies it is not included in the total price.

If you are ordering pool heat for your vacation home or townhome you will need to arrange this with the management company. Affordable Travel cannot be responsible for the pool heat since the property management company offers this service. Cancellations made within 30 days of your arrival during these high season dates will carry a 4-night penalty.

Cancellation Fee for Vacation Homes:

Greater than 30 days before your reservation: We will not charge anything aside from initial $50 deposit

Less than 30 days before reservation: You will be charged for a 2-night stay (4-night stay during peak periods)

Less than 24 hours before reservation: You will be charged the entire price of your stay

Cancellation and Refund Policies

  • We confirm all cancellations with an email sent to the address we have on file.
  • If you are not satisfied with your stay please let us know as soon as possible so we may do everything in our power to fix the issue. If you notify us of a problem after your vacation, we are sorry but there is little we can do to help you. We are here to help our guest in anyway but we need to be alerted of the issue so we can solve it.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We will do everything in our power to make sure our guests have a great time in Orlando. If there is an issue with your stay please contact Affordable Travel at 1-800-633-7108 ext 7007 and we will do our best to make your issue go away. There will be no compensation if you notify us of any issues after you have checked out. It is only fair that our company be given the opportunity to make right any issues you have while you are in town.

To Reserve Disney World and Other Attraction Tickets

You may order Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld tickets from us, and we can have the tickets waiting for you at your hotel or vacation home upon your arrival to Orlando or we can mail you the theme park tickets. All ticket orders will be fulfilled and processed by Kissimmee Guest Services, which is our ticket division. We suggest to all our guests to order your tickets early. There is no charge to order the tickets, and we do not charge you until 15 days prior to your arrival. Please note, that the theme parks typically go up on their ticket prices 2 or 3 times a year. We will honor the ticket prices which they were at the time you ordered them.

Once we have sold the tickets and the guests has paid for them we cannot exchange or refund for the tickets. The tickets will be charged in full 15 days prior to your arrival.
