AMERICAN WATER SKI HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM
A trip through the American Water Ski Educational Foundation (AWSEF) and the United States Water Ski Hall of Fame and Museum offers a glimpse into the sport’s past and continuing innovations. The Hall of Fame honors the skiers, pioneers, and officials whose dedication and competitive achievements on the national and international levels have brought lasting fame to the sport of water skiing.
The Water Ski Museum literally brims over with water ski treasures, including early photographs, rare films, artifacts, and photo essays of every facet of the sport. Witness exciting water ski action and learn more about the history of the sport through a series of push-button video displays throughout the museum.
In the Spring of 2017 The United State Water Ski Hall of Fame and Museum will open the new water sports complex which will feature Elite Cable Park. This new water complex will have three championship water ski and wake board lake. The new park is going to be situated on 76 acre Lake Myrtle and it will be staffed with professional coaches which will be offering lessons in wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and water skiing to all skill levels.
The new park is scheduled to open fully in 2018.

Directions: I-4 to exit 44 between Tampa and Orlando, 10 miles southeast of Lakeland. Exit north to 557A for 1.2 miles to Holy Cow Road. The USA Water Ski Foundation is located almost half way between Orlando and Tampa.
