2. There are a ton of new attractions to check out
If it’s been over a year since your last visit to Orlando then you’ll be amazed at how much changed. Universal Orlando has opened their new waterpark, Volcano Bay, which uses a new TapuTapu innovative technology to ensure guests skip every line. Disney has added an entire new land to Animal Kingdom, Pandora. Typhoon Lagoon, a top rated water park, has a new family raft ride called Miss Fortune Falls. And these are just a few examples!

Disney’s Epcot has a unique part of their park called the World Showcase. There are many valid reasons to visit Orlando during the summer but there’s always one big downside – the heat and humidity. If you visit in December, you can likely skip all the heat. It should be noted that Florida weather is rather volatile during colder months. Expect to need warm clothes in the morning and warmer-weather wear in the afternoon.

If you want to visit Orlando during Christmas or New Year’s Eve, then you should expect to pay top dollar. If you assume that a visit to Orlando means spending thousands of dollars, then you’ll be pleased to know that there are actually lots of low-price and even free things to do. The Zora Neale Hurston National Museum of Fine Arts, the Coca Cola Orlando Eye, Lake Eola Park, CityArts Factory, and Black Hammock Adventures are just a few examples of things you can do for less than $25.

Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter is already a very popular spot for fans of Harry Potter but in December it’s even more excited. Start by checking out the Frog Choir, which has a special show ready for the holidays.
