Planning Help- Theme Park Tickets
The most expensive part of your Orlando vacation is going to be purchasing the theme park tickets. Choosing the right ticket for your party is key to saving money on your Orlando vacation. Here are a few tips to help you in choosing the right tickets:
Understand the theme parks- Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World are all owned by different companies so you will need a different ticket for each park. A Disney World ticket will not work at Universal Studios! We have written literally hundreds of pages that outline each major park here in Orlando. Before you purchase any tickets please make sure you research which parks you and your family will want to visit.
- Disney World- Consist of 4 major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT) plus 2 water parks, an indoor theme park, and a downtown area.
- Universal Studios- Consist of 2 theme parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) plus a large downtown shopping and eating area.
- SeaWorld- Is a smaller park with only one theme park and one water park. Please note, many people are intrigued by the SeaWorld and Bush Gardens Combo ticket. While it is a good deal please note that Bush Gardens is located in Tampa which is about an hour and a half drive from Orlando.
Pick One Park if you are looking to save Money- If you are looking to save money it is best to pick one of the major park to visit. For example, Disney World has a saying “the longer you stay the less you pay per day.” Click here to read the article on Play With One Theme Park.
You can always add tickets when you are in Orlando- Sometimes guests have us build a package for them, and they have so many tickets that they are going to need a vacation from their vacation. Please note, once we sell you the tickets and you take possession of them we cannot refund you for any unused tickets. We suggest you buy the tickets to the parks you know you want to visit and then if you have the time and energy you can always call us to order more tickets.

Special Disney World Theme Park Ticket Tip: If you are going to be going to Disney World then we suggest purchasing the Base Tickets. Every time you add an option such as: Park Hopping, Non-Expiration, or Water Park Fun and More it will add about $50 to the price of the ticket. Nearly 60% of all the guests to Disney World who purchase the Park Hopper Option never used it.
