Pirates of the Caribbean Adventureland Magic Kingdom
Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most elaborate and famous attractions in all of Walt Disney World. After waiting in line inside a dark fortress, guests board boats for a swashbuckling voyage through the age of piracy. The ride begins with Davy Jones’ Locker, complete with skeletons and crustaceans. Then it’s down a brief drop that deposits guests in the midst of a raging battle between a galleon captained by Barbossa and a city fort. As riders float through the following scenes, Captain Jack Sparrow can be found craftily finding his way to the town’s treasure under the nose of Barbossa’s crew. The ride features some amazing show effects including a large cast of Audio-Animatronic figures. It also features the classic Disney song, “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life For Me)” which also was heard in the blockbuster trilogy based on the attraction.
There is no height requirement for this ride.

Disney Tip
Even though Pirates of the Caribbean is a very popular attraction, the ride is extremely efficient and moves guests through, and usually has shorter lines than the other big attractions. Even so, it’s best to avoid between 11 am and 4 pm if you want the shortest lines.
