Animal Kingdom – Festival of the Lion King
Often considered to be one of the best live productions in Disney World, the Festival of the Lion King salutes the wonderful music from the classic animated film The Lion King. The show features human actors along with costumed characters and puppets, and includes nonstop singing and dancing. There are also some speciality performers including a fire juggler and aerial ballerina.
This show has all the puppetry of a Big Broadway Show celebrating the live of Simba, the baby lion cub who grew up to become the king.
There is no minimum height requirement.

When to Go
The first show and the last two shows are the least crowded. Arrive about 30 minutes before showtime.

- The set pieces used in the show were originally floats in the Legend of the Lion King parade at Disneyland in California
- All of the songs are from the film besides the opening number “Welcome to Our World” which was written specifically for the show.
- This show last 30 minutes and it is recommend for children of all ages.
