Orlando Vacation- Just going to get better

Orlando is the number one family travel destination in the entire World, and it is only going to get bigger and better in the future. Lets take a few minutes to look at what we have to look forward to in the next few years.

2009- SeaWorld was recently bought by the Blackstone Group. This is huge since the Blackstone group is also majority owners of Universal Studios Theme Park. By having the same owners this is going to allow SeaWorld and Universal Studios to work closer together in marketing, and it should allow both companies to gain more of the market share from Disney World.

2010- Universal Studios is going to unveil their newest Orlando theme park... Harry Potter. The opening of this theme park is suppose to be huge for Universal Studios. I actually work quite close to Universal Studios, and it is quite neat to see the park being built. It already looks quite impressive.

2012- Disney has announced that in 2012 the major over haul of the Magic Kingdom theme park will be completed. Personally, I can't wait to see the changes Disney will make, as we all know Disney does everything thing first class.

There are major changes which are going to be taking place in Orlando over the next few years, and the winners in all this are the guests who desire to visit Orlando.

Orlando Vacations Just Got Better

Orlando Vacations just got better this Summer with the much anticipated launch of Universal Studios' latest ride. Their newest ride is a roller coaster called "Rip Ride Rockit" and is scheduled for its first passengers Summer 2009. Universal has not provided a specific date that the ride will be open.

This coaster promises to be like none other. Each passenger will have their own music playing with about 30 songs to choose from. A wide variety of genres are will be available for the passengers. Passengers will not hear much of their neighbors music since the music is played through the head piece and the coaster is traveling at about 65 miles per hour which drowns out neighboring sound.

Another feature of the coaster is that it is short in length. The train only seats 12 passengers at a time. By the train being shorter it allows for a better user experience according to Universal.
