Today as we are winding down 2009 I thought we would look at the top 5 Orlando attractions. The top three Orlando attractions are easy since Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World are the main attractions in Orlando. If you asked 100 people on the street you would probably get 100 different answers for what their 4th and 5th most favorite attraction in Orlando are...knowing that, this is my list. 1. Walt Disney World- This is the granddaddy of them all, and Disney is the main reason why Orlando is the number one family travel destination in the entire world. Disney World is absolutely huge. It consists of 4 major theme parks (Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT), a downtown area, two great water parks, first class resort hotels, a couple of golf courses, fishing lakes, and an interactive indoor theme park which is called Disney Quest. 2. Universal Studios- Universal Studios Orlando consists of 2 major theme parks (Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios), a downtown area with great restaurants, first class resorts, and they are going to opening the much anticipated Harry Potter theme park in the Spring of 2010. 3. Sea World Orlando- Sea World is a much smaller than Disney World or Universal Studios but it is just as much fun. Sea World has 1 theme park which is built as part aquatic zoo and part theme park. They have a great little water park and who could not mention Discovery Cove where you and your family can swim with the dolphins. Sea World Orlando is a great little theme park for the whole family. 4. Pirates Dinner Show- This is my favorite Dinner Show in Orlando. The food is good, the service is great, and the show is awesome! 5. Fun Spot on Highway 192- I know this one is kind of random but if you love to race go carts then you need to check out Fun Spot. This Orlando attraction is set-up like a mini carnival with 4 great go cart race tracks. It doesn't cost a lot of money to visit and if you go on Friday nights they always have an antique car show which is pretty cool to see. If you are visiting Orlando we would love to assist you with your travel plans. We have great deals on a few Orlando hotels, to make a reservation all we require is a $50 refundable deposit and your remaining balance is due 15 days prior to your arrival. We guarantee to have the lowest prices on any of the Orlando hotels we offer, and our guests can book with confidence since we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Today I thought we would look at the three best Orlando vacation specials have for 2010. 1) Disney World- Since we have had great success with our current Disney World ticket offer we are going to stick with it especially for the first couple of months of 2010. We are upgrading all 4 day Disney World tickets, both hopper tickets and base tickets, to 7 day tickets. 2) Sea World Orlando Specials- It is quite surprising that we have not seen any ticket changes at Sea World since The Blackstone Group purchased them a couple of months back. Keep in mind, The Blackstone Group also owns majority of the stock in Universal Studios so one would think that there would be a special ticket which would benefit both Sea World and Universal Studios. e We have not seen anything yet, but we are expecting some news soon. If you purchase a Sea World ticket from us, you can upgrade the single day ticket to a 7 day ticket at the gate. 3) Orlando Vacation Homes- For January and the first part of February we are offering our Terra Verde townhomes at $84 night a night, and we even have 3 bedroom vacation homes with a private pools for $81 a night. We are really excited about our specials going into 2010, and we are looking forward to a great year. Please click here to see our most up to date Orlando vacation specials. We also have a full staff of travel specialist waiting to assist you should you need a little assistance.

Christmas is a great time to spend in Orlando. If you have not made your plans for this year it might be a little late but here are 5 great reasons to spend Christmas and New Years here in Orlando next year: 1) Disney Very Merry Christmas Parade- There is nothing like the Disney's Very Merry Christmas Parade. It is held on certain dates in December and it really gets you in the Christmas Spirit. The parade lasts for about 2 1/2 hours, and it is held at the Magic Kingdom Theme Park. 2) Lots of Activities at the Parks- Christmas time is the busiest time of the year for the theme parks but don't let this deter you. Sure there are more people here than in September but the parks also have more people working to accommodate for the extra guests. Think of it this way, the more people that are here the more activities (parades, special events, etc) Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld are going to provide. 3) Weather- Today the temperature is in the low 70's but this weekend we should be in the mid to high 80's during the day and low 70's at night. The December weather in Orlando is great...not to hot and not too cool. 4) Bowl Games- Orlando is home to two bowl games. The Champs Sports Bowl which is held on December 27 and the Citrus Bowl which is held on January 1. This year the LSU Tigers will take on Penn State in the Citrus Bowl. 5) Out Door Activities- Golf, Fishing, Tennis, Basketball, Swimming...no matter what your favorite outdoor activity Orlando is the place for it. Orlando is home to many world class golf courses, and Kissimmee Lake Taho is one of the best bass fishing lakes in the world. We look forward to seeing you next year in Orlando. If we can assist you with your travel plans to Orlando please give us a call. During Christmas, many families like to stay in one of our Disney vacation homes since they all have their own private pools.
This year, the deals on vacation homes in Kissimmee, FL are better than I have ever seen. Yes, the nightly prices on these vacation homes near Disney World are better in 2009 than they were in 2001...quite remarkable. Here are three good tips to get the best deal when renting a Kissimmee vacation home: 1. Decide on a neighborhood-This is key...the neighborhood makes the house. We suggest looking for a vacation home community with a security gate, 24 hour guard service, one with a huge clubhouse with community swimming pool. What you are looking for in these communities is one that offers all the amenities you would find at a four star hotel, and then you can also have all the space the vacation home is going to offer you. Decide on a community which is not more than 15 minutes away from Disney. 2. Once you have decided on a neighborhood then start searching for the deals. You will probably find it easier to deal with a wholesaler or vacation home property manager than dealing directly with the home owner. You can get good deals by working directly with the home owners, but more than likely their full time job is not renting out their Kissimmee vacation home. However, to find the best deal talk to both property managers and home owners directly, the one with the best deal wins. 3. Size matters. If you think all your family needs is a three bedroom vacation home go for the four bedroom. Why? Simple, more space and the bigger the house the bigger the swimming pool. The price difference between a three bedroom vacation home and a four bedroom vacation is about $10 to $15 more per night. We hope this information was helpful and if you are looking to rent a Kissimmee vacation home please give us a call. We have full staff of travel planners waiting to assist you.
The Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau just landed the Stars Wars Convention in 2010. The official dates are August 12-15 and the tickets will go on sale December 10, 2009. The price of the tickets are $120 for all four days and $50 for a single day ticket. This is the fifth Star Wars Convention is slated to bring in Star War fans from all over the world. It is going to be interesting to see what Disney World does as a tribute to one of the most popular films of all time. If you are a fan of Star Wars and you are thinking about coming to this convention, we are offering all Star Wars Fans a $25 discount off the price of their Orlando Fl. hotels. Simply just let one of our friendly customer service agents know you are coming to this festival, and we will take the discount off your total price.
If you are visiting Orlando in December here are 5 things you must do: 1) Gaylord Hotel- The Gaylord is really neat, and it is a very special hotel to visit in December. They actually have an ice sculpture display inside the hotel, and guests can walk through the hotel to view these awesome sculptures. They have to have the hotel so cold to prevent the ice from melting that guests will receive a heavy overcoat to wear as they are walking through the hotel. 2) Mickeys' Very Merry Christmas Party- I think this is Disney's best parade. Kids of all ages love this parade. 3) Macy's Holiday Parade at Universal Studios- If you have seen Macy's Thanksgiving Parade then you will have a good idea at what to expect. 4) Ring in the New Years at EPCOT- This will probably be the most spectacular firework display you have seen. 5) New Years at Universal Studios- Of all the theme parks in Orlando... Universal is known to be the one to throw the best party. Our favorite place to go is City Walk, with all the first class restaurants and bars you can't go wrong here. If you are looking to visit Orlando in December you need to make your reservation now! December is the busiest travel month of the year and Disney World packages sell out fast.
