An Orlando Vacation is No Time for Work

While there are many business travelers that visit the area each year, those who are taking an Orlando Vacation should refrain themselves from working if possible. Daily life is filled with countless responsibilities and we encourage guests to enjoy their time away from home and just have fun when visiting our neck of the woods.

I am reminded of a story told to me by an adult who recalled here vacation to Disney World as child. Unfortunately, it did not contain all the happiness one wants to hear about a trip at the theme parks. She did not remember meeting Mickey or enjoying Epcot. Instead she remembers one item and one item alone: her father spend the whole time working in their vacation home, while the mother took her to the theme parks. She spent the past few months looking forward to the Orlando vacation and spending the time with both her parents. Instead she ended up spending all of the days with her Mom.

I have no idea if the father had business plans in Orlando beforehand or ended up tied down with work once there. I also know that she loved and still loves her mother with all her heart. That said the one thing she remembers most about her vacation is that her father did not spend it with them. The morale from this story is obvious. If you are going to take an Orlando vacation with your kids it is no time to work; save that for home or let your child know in advance this tale is no repeated.
