Question and Answer

Hi all,

Lisa here...as promised I present our very first question and answer. Today's questions is regarding Disney's Magic Your Way tickets:

Question:
Are Magic Your Way tickets valid on holidays, such as Christmas and New Years?

Answer:
Magic Your Way tickets are valid 365 days a year. The only thing they are not good for is the "hard ticket" events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The "hard ticket" events require a special ticket at an extra charge, and generally take place at night, after park closing.

If you plan to visit any of the parks on a holiday, arrive very early (7 am is not too early) and prepare to wait at the gates. The parks close their gates when they hit capacity and will not reopen until the park begins to clear out. Magic Kingdom in particular often hits capacity shortly after opening on holiday mornings.

Should you find yourself locked out of your park of choice due to capacity, have a security guard radio the other parks to check if they are open. If you have the Park Hopper option, you can then go to another park and have Cast Members there check via radio periodically to see if your original park choice is open yet. Often they will reopen in the early afternoon, though this is never guaranteed.

Keep those questions coming to lisa@orlandovacation.com, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
