The park, which is accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, is home to more than 1,700 animals representing 250 different species. Most of the creatures are of the animate variety, as opposed to the Audio-Animatronics kind. Despite that, you won't see many beasts behind bars here. Instead, you'll go on safari and see a variety of wild animals living in spacious habitats, with remarkably few separations visible to the naked eye.
