There is a new monster coming to the
Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando: Expedition Everest. Animal Kingdom unveiled the ride this past Tuesday for test trials until it finally goes public in April. Guests will be zoomed through the Himalayan mountains on a runaway train that ends up screaming down an 80-foot drop!
The speculation is that Disney executives are worried about attendance at the Animal Kingdom theme park (lowest of the 4 parks) and that they expect a big boost from this new thrill ride. As a matter of fact, industry insiders are projecting an increase of anywhere from 6% to 10% in attendance at Animal Kingdom!
We can't wait to try this one out!
